I still think it'd be cooler as some sort of killer unbreakable glass.

So, why doesn't everyone just make a mod for *their* kind of adamantine, and we'll put them all together in one giant "adamantine mod".

I suggest naming it nexium.

After the Latin word "nex" which means "death" (from what I've been told).

Or bellatorium. "Bellator" apparently means "warrior."

Hmm, I can't say whether that's right or not, as I can't find my Langenscheidt.  I'll look harder tomorrow.

I used an online translator, so I'm expecting someone to crash through the ceiling of my home and bash me into a pulpy pool of blood with a giant war-hammer labeled "WRONG."

That's just silly.
It would be labeled 'lul, nub'

Alright, I've started a new thread for different types of adamantine.  If anyone wants to add what they think of adamantine, just stop on by!

Bit of a necropost, but I felt the need.

I suggest naming it nexium.

After the Latin word "nex" which means "death" (from what I've been told).

Or bellatorium. "Bellator" apparently means "warrior."

*Points to name*

Rex Nex = The King of Death, so I don't think it would be much of a stretch at all to pull Nex out for death.

Anyway, moving on, is adamantine mythril?

I'm renaming mine dogite.

Does 1000% damage against cats. 2000% against kittens. I will make this work!

Hate to disappoint, but King of Death should be Rex Necis (Necis being the genitive case of nex). What you've got is more along the lines of King Death... which may be nonsense, or might work as in "your name is death, and your title is king".

Thanks for clearing that up, I was aware Rex Nex wasn't entirely correct grammatically - it just sounds a lot better then Rex Necis (To me, as Rex and Nex are very similar). Don't know the entire point of explaining usernames, but that was a interesting bit of info you shared.

We are a community of mathematicians, geologists, linguists, biologists, computer programmers, and likely cosmologists.  If something scientific comes up, that has a definite answer it's going to be answered, like it or not.

If we end up with something debatable however, the thread will be so horribly derailed it would be like your train just sprouted wings and a jet engine and started doing stunts through the air at an air show before diving into the deep deep depths of flamewar.

Right now this thread is just doing the equivalent of leaving the tracks and taking a brisk jaunt along a bike path.
