Wait a minute.. There's not even millions of people in the universe currently that could die.

Karne, you ever read Narbonic? Your next creation should be mad scientists! Science is nice, but only the mad can make the leaps of illogic required to really break physics!

great! instead of removing corpses they now have to disable every single trap. Couldn't you make some kind of central trap control room?

I assumed there was one. They still have to go there and turn everything off.

That seems needlessly uncomplicated.

Pala'din allies with someone; said someone then proceeds to use Pala'din's planet to attack another god

I just gotta say, breaking a planet in half-but-still-keeping-it-intact-with-magic isn't nearly as destructive as bashing another god with the planet's remains without magic.
Astra'ath does whatever is in its best interest at the time.

It was being pummeled by a star, so it threw a planet at it. Seems logical.

If I live I'll rebuild it for him, dwarves and all.

Well, after he got pissed off it Chara did pry it open in a rather destructive manner.
Yeah I figured after you did that you were no longer being careful, so most of the things on the world were dead anyway. I mean it was opened enough to allow something the size of Chara in...
It got broked, so Astra'ath got to play with it.
And I will destroy that star next turn. I will freeze it, shrink it, take it to my Vault, and step on it.
I'll get all Duke Nukem on it.

I imagine Luna at least saved some of the inhabitants with her ritual

A few hundred live on the space stations y'know. And in my moon.
Imagine the attitude of the people on my former planet towards other gods to be something like the American's attitute towards communists in the 50's.  Maybe some hippy elves left, but that's about it.

Considering that the elves were originally from Aether, yes. But there's bound to be variation in any population.

But those that left probably were the fish and animal dissector type people. Totally useless.
Almost like... hippies.

I'm pretty sure Astra'ath will not be killed in that fight, not because I wouldn't want the conflict to end, but because I've got to be reasonable.

Chara has used up a lot of strength already, and so has Frandor.
