That depends on who chooses to enter the fray.
Yeah I was being sarcastic. I know this can and probably will go horribly wrong.

But it will be fun. Sitting in a cave is not fun.

I agree to the fullest.

Cute. I do you a favor and you turn on me for no reason.

And they call me the monster.

That remark cost him seven acts, don't worry, it killed him.

I wish.

I think I have figured out an appropriate, measured, reasonable response.

Coradin or the Valkyries aren't gonna notice Astra'ath's fleet until it's much closer, so I won't react just yet.

That's fine. I wasn't planning to do the battle today, I am busy most of the day.

Caesar, I don't know how many acts this will take. I hope not too many, seeing as he created the bugs with just one IIRC.

But whatever it costs, it will be worth it.

Y'all got a golden opportunity to attack Astra'ath's Act supply here. Them Cultists are a supply line. Cut 'em. My Bug's porbably be torn to bits by the Starspawn that stayed behind, but they're a distraction.

Hm, Astra'ath gets his acts from fear and worship, right? If he has no worship, he has less power, so he's less scary, so he has less power.

Maybe we can not-believe him out of existence, Tinkerbell-style?

I don't believe in tentacle raep, I don't, I dont'!

[/'sploit]

Of course, the other side is that if we kill Astra'ath, we have no antagonist and thus no real roleplay. So either we need a constant stream of griefers, or we can't kill Forsaken. I suppose it's a limitation of the system.

FAKEEDIT: Oh noes, I called upon the very Toenails of the Universe for the power to speak those words!

FAKEEDITTHESECOND: Not necessarily. I still have a good number of Acts stored, and I don't think Asta'ath is inherently any more powerful than any one of us. We're just RPing him up.

Destruction or ceasing life...

Anyways, you forgot to bold the act below the post.

I'd like to note that besides the fact that I leave open the option that Astra'ath can actually win, Xarn too can fill the role of semi-antagonist.

We can always have a new antagonist. The life of gods is never boring, y'see. I could just create for a while in peace for a while myself though.

But we can't kill Astra'ath yet, it wouldn't be epic enough.

There ya go.

Seems backwards to me, as destruction is normally monumentally easier than creation.

Weeks to build a structure, 5 seconds to tear it down with charges. -shrug-

Like I said, whatever it costs it costs.

True. For mortal beings, that is.
It is, unfortunately, the opposite for gods. They create, but they do not destroy.
We've gotten creations to do that for us, mainly.
