Ah, alright then. You've spent enough Acts on them to get them to transform, I guess. Yay for space battles!
Its really their only function. They don't transform so much as project the ship. I did spend 3 acts just to create the deep/star spawn and the spawning pools that make them because they're pretty strong, so you could say 4 acts have gone into them so far.

Think of them as little powerful psychic engines specialized towards creating solid energy fields. The only matter in the 'ship' is the pilot, but in all ways it acts like a normal ship. Can be damaged/destroyed, has weapons, etc.

The more starspawn come together, the larger ship they can make. Worked it all out with Caesar a few turns back.

So... how many dimensions can the starspawn travel in? If it's 4 my library might need some more defenses...
As many as I want them to.  8)

So the shafts to the surface are still open?
Wouldn't lava and dwarves be pouring in by now?

The lava shouldn't be a problem, it was probably blocked off by the rubble. As for the dwarves... You might want to add some adamantite caps to those.

Well holes like that don't just vanish.

And I had assumed that I created safe shafts through the planet during my construction of Sothurn, else my own tentacles would be burninated in the magmas.

Any dwarves who came down were promptly gobbled.

If you'd like I can post something where the Starspawn meet up with a party of dwarven explorers though. Or you can post the party and I the response. etc

I just thought of something our universe needs. Something like the river styx in greek myth: An oath made on the river styx could never be broken, not even by a god. It would probably be pretty expensive though.

Ten were sent in.
How many will ever see the light of day again?

Also, I have to go on a stupid camping thing in two hours.  I will be gone until Saturday afternoon.
Don't do anything important when I'm gone!

There already is a settlement by the crater. It's called Canyonoar.
And I am off to camp!

Woah. I'm away for one morning, and three pages of OOC gets posted :D.
Anyway, I noticed there's no thief god! How awful a universe with no one for the pirates and thieves to praise:

Name: Malian
Spheres: Shadows, Thievery, Lies
Personality/traits: Malian is not very evil per se, but he definitely isn't good. He'll kill peasants with no after thought, but only if he gets something out of the deal. If you approach him with demands, he'll laugh and maybe steal a gold or few. If you approach him civilly, he is quite nice to you, and loves jokes (even on himself). He thinks of himself as being able to do anything, beat anyone, and is generally overconfident. He perfers quick strikes, battles swung heavily in his favor, and cheap tricks rather than even sided battles, which puts him at odds with Gheronaton already. In his spare time, he will run scams and con shops on mortal worlds, using his godly powers to amuse himself. He respects his creations, thinking they are the true way to victory.

In conclusion, a fun loving thief, but thats also quite self absorbed and confident.

Appearance: A slightly gangly human in all black suit with a katana at his side (mostly for show, but he can use it pretty well.), and a diamond tipped cane he carries around and swings at people while talking. He wears a mask most of the time for show, but is not afraid to show his face.

Aaand thats all I can think of for now...

I discovered something new about aquifers!  On the down side, there's now a cave fish swimming around in the bedrooms.

Once Luna/fortis gets on, I'll be changing that.
