This is also really far back, but I'd like to dispute the unprovokedness of my attack.

You stole Galt's asteroids, and you were armouring yourself in a universe which had not yet had a conflict between Gods, AND you were being a creepy bugger gefore you arrived. Galt thought a pre-emptive stirke would be best.

But seriously, though, I was just waiting for someone to use the asteroids.

The 'asteroids' you're saying I stole were cast-off debris you used to spare yourself a little pain. You threw them away, and I made use of them.
