And now the question becomes: Do I dare read this without first using an act to make sure it won't drive me mad?

Meh, caution's for wimps.
DO EET!

We need more insane gods, right?

Same for 'Origins'.

There's a little problem, though...
I'm still to think through what exactly is contained within its dusty form.

Give me some time to think and write it up. Might maybe take even a day to make up and write down, as it is supposed to contain quite a lot of information.

Do bear in mind that Luna offered to let Poena return to Aether and find some other way to deal with Astra'ath

I'm interested in seeing what Luna thinks of the Nightgaunts living on the dark side of Aether.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it!

Take as long as you want. Natus is going to sit on the contents for now anyways until he can figure out which gods he can actually trust. He didn't know about the pact with Dragnar and Astra'ath until he saw them in the library together, so now he's a little paranoid!

She does.

She just hasn't been driven to the point of leaving their cause yet.

Knave, one problem with your post. Astra'ath's form never entered the library.

Realize that TCG would probably already know, since it's the god of forbidden knowledge and all.

Still, as you described it, The Chained God knows of other parallel existences, but this very universe was still new to it.
Or am I wrong?

I was thinking that Xarn was some progenitor being from another universe, but if that's not the case, then a simple (for a god of forbidden knowledge) divining ritual could remedy that in a pinch.

Actually, you're right. The Emperor in Chains will also get to know the contents of 'Origins'.

It will contain information that Xarn doesn't even know about himself.

Knave, one problem with your post. Astra'ath's form never entered the library.

Natus was scared when he sensed the minion that Astra'ath had sent. He's assuming Dragnar and Astra'ath are in cahoots and trying to trick/trap Natus. That's why he flew out the hole in the wall as quickly as possible. His fear is making him a little unreasonable.

I'm glad people actually use the titles I made. :D

Good... good. Fear fuels Astra'ath.

I excessively used them a while back.
I think it was in the post where Poena offered it care of her brother.

I hate to use the same term multiple times when possible to use synonyms or other titles.
