I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Clearly a WOMAN of SCIENCE! needs to learn Chemistry. There are many interesting things you can do with Chemistry. And besides, the MAN of SCIENCE! already did Proboring and Lamebotics.

:/

You guys, honestly.

To be fair, Pandarsenic's thread pretty much died. We haven't got ten turns into one of these, so we don't know how any particular field of SCIENCE! will pan out.

Besides, who doesn't love Killbots?

Why robots when you can command something to posses said robots?

but other people cant make said robots as awesome as yours

Then combine both and create sentient minions of death!

your passion for...
SCIENCE!

Programming, to be exact. Something about recursion just sends a little trill of pleasure down your spine. You were good, too - damn good. So what if none understood your efficiency algorithm, or even cared! So what if they laughed at your attempts to build a try artificial intelligence! You'll show them all, soon enough...

Spoiler: Statistics (click to show/hide)

But of course, you didn't spend all your time in university pushing bytes around. Your gaze lingers on your second degree. You always were ambitious, and you saw no reason not to fake a second degree so long as you were inclined to go about faking degrees. You finger the certificate, thinking back to your time in school spent studying...

Cognitive science! (neurology, phsycology, and uite frequenty a bit of philosphy. This is usefull both in programing things that mimic the human brain, and in the aspects of biology that concern the human brain.)

ASTROLOGY!!!!maybe it will help us in some way....

You mean Astronomy? Either way, Aerospace Engineering and Astrophysics would be more useful... and even then, only when we want to launch something into space.

I'll keep my vote on Engineering, since it's versatile, synergizes great with Programming, and also Killbots.

I still vote for the paranormal. Know your plotting vampires before they decide to kill you because of your awesomely growing powers.
