This may sound like a basic question, so sorry if it is but I just downloaded DF off of fileplanet, which also came with the Phoebus graphic change and every time I start the game in full screen, it starts to load up, then minimizes on it's self. And when I enlarge the game again, half the visuals are off my screen completely on the right side. My resolution is 1680x1050. If I play in non-full screen mode then it appears just fine but then everything is in a small window, which I'd rather play in full screen.

I don't use a graphics set, so excuse me if I'm a bit off with these suggestions.

Open your init file, and try the following changes.

1. Set Graphics_Black_space to NO instead of YES
2. Change the Graphics_FULLSCREENY to 640 instead of 800

If you don't mind playing in windowed mode you can try playing around with GRAPHICS_WINDOWEDX, GRAPHICS_WINDOWEDY settings, black_space, and the grid settings to find something that suits your playing.
