I suggest we breed the mould so we have a reasonable and steady supply of the Acid and Alkali, either that or collect more mould to make more producers, but what make what we can breed?

How would we go about turning those rats into scouts, we are going to need more animals and security at some point.

How about we locate a blood sucking insect of some kind and modify a swarm of them to, as well as the normal breeding and eating they do to, return a sample of their victims to our lab?

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.
