A quick info bulletin on Paranormal SCIENCE!

Paranormal SCIENCE! Is a combination of propaganda and pressing the boundaries. You need to make the people believe something... then release that something. The fear factor will die out if you use the same thing many times, but if you keep making new and insane things, the fear will stay constant.

The advantages to picking this as a science is that there is no upper limit to the creations beside your budget. You can have Acid Blood, Vampiric Powers... anything goes, because you're a mad scientist.

However, the bonuses don't REALLY kick in until later levels, and it's a rather expensive SCIENCE! But it can be more effective later in the game when combined with some Killbotics!

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

Lazers probably comes under Mineral SCIENCE! And Physics SCIENCE!

A quick bulletin on Neurosurgerical SCIENCE!

Neourosurgery is the art of manipulating the human brain. Basically, you apply minor shocks to areas of the brains that make certain things happen. Well, that was a rather quick description....

The advantages are that you don't need many plans. You need only one thing to control the brain, iron out the bugs and keep on using it! And there's a chance that no-one will ever suspect you! Plus, you can combine it with many other fields of SCIENCE! For example, you can give them massive weapons from a Killbot, making them ignore the stress of weight!

The disadvantages are that no-one really wants to be your test dummy, so you have to do it secretly. You may come across the oddball every now and again, but at early levels, he has a high chance of dying. But it can be combined with any other frikkin' SCIENCE! For god's sake!

I'm gonna vote for physics cause fricken lasers.

Neurosurgerical sounds dull because if noone is terrified of what you might do to them what is the point of running everything?

Or I vote maths because everything is applied maths :)

Maths are a scientific basic, needed for pretty much everything. What'd you gain from specializing in them as a mad scientist?

A quick bulletin on Physical SCIENCE!

Physics is very broad and very simple. At lower levels, you can make catapults, crossbows and such, and fire them accurately. You can also make basic chassis. At later levels, you could probably make a tank.

The advantages are that you can do ALL SORTS, especially combined with other sciences.

There is a disadvantage... wait, there isn't an obvious disadvantage. Aside from the fact that it's a bit weak on its own...
