What if you were unable to discover the axe's ability? Yeah, Identifying is a skill.

Try to identify my Tin Spoon.

Take up a point position at the stairs if we decide to go down them.

Watch for traps.

They Go down.
Yes you can learn skills you don't know.
And untill Knight85 replies...

I walk with everyone down the stairwell. I examine the room. If the room has no creature in it, then I will search for a item on the ground. If there is a creature in the room, I will attempt to stab it in the head!

Just a note, how did I materialize a wand and then zap it, when I'm carrying this?

Ok time to do a little attempt at animal training.

If Terrahex does not successfully tame the Donkey... tame the donkey myself :)

Train my *four* legged dog friend in the ways of combat

quaff 1 healing potion to finally get rid of this annoying injury, as certain people with medical skills aren't helping. hehe

Dog

Walk over and sit next to Knight to prepare to receive combat training

Rat

Keep an eye on the donkey and leave him alone unless he goes hostile.

If he does go dangerously hostile, call forth a bunch of your rat friends to keep him busy.

Turn Four

Umm, fail? yes, you fail. You gained 10 exp in Animal Taming!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Fail again. You gained 10 exp in Animal Taming!

You decide to just gain up at the hallway.
You think you did bad, you gained a skill dude, eventually Knight85 would spawn some Dragons and you could tame them!

Frelock

You take a good look at your axe, you realize that the axe is really a (UC)Bronze Axe!

You Remove your (UC)Iron Shield.

You Equip your (UC)Bronze Axe.
Sounds very Orcish to me...

Paranatural

You take a look at your (UK)Tin Spoon, you realize that it is a (UC)Tin Spoon! (Spoons give bonus when you are eating, yes, you get hungry!)

You take lead at the stairs

You make sure there are no traps on the stairs, find no traps so you give everyone the 'Go.'
Can you Kill with a spoon?

Phillip

You order everyone down the stairs, you are formed in a Wedge formation in the new room, you hear screams everywhere.

You examine the room, you notice these rooms are hard rock. All the other rooms are soft and smooth and this room be rock hard? There is a Sold Metal Door forward.

Because there is no creature in the room, you notice a Iron Box in the corner!
Hurrah for your boring leadershit... Ohh wait, I mean boring leadership.

Knight85

You realize that the you are the donkeys master, you run back into the room above the stairs and use a magical aura to see if you can tame this thing.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Success! You tame the Donkey! Plus ten in Animal Taming!

You go back in the room with everyone else and decide to give your dog better biting lessons, because you ran out of magic, you try to use yourself as a target.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Success! Your dog learns how to better fight, and gains 1 Strength! But you gain a Medium Bite Mark on your Left arm. Plus 10 in Animal Training!

You Quaff a Healing Potion and it cures all your wounds!
Go doggeh!

Medium Sized Dog

Attends Knight85's Lessons and gained 1 Strength!
Yep, congratulations.

Large Rat

Since your master is taming the damn thing, you leave it be.
Good rat, ehh, you still creep us all.

Group

Nice to know no harm no foul. Next round we should get that box open and head forward!

Knight85!!!! spawn dragons!!!!

Meanmelter
A little googling found this little rpg mapping program, initial perusal of it looks like it might work for you
http://rpgmapper.sourceforge.net/

Also:
http://www.dungeoncrafter3.com/download.php (Nice Looking)
http://autorealm.sourceforge.net/index.php

Lets see, I'm out of magic for now and at best I'd spawn nothing and at worst I'd spawn hostile dragon.. I think we'll wait on the dragon spawning.

Gah! I'll never gain experience in anything, it seems.

Head on down the stairs and go into the next area, attacking anything obviously hostile until dead.

If there's nothing obviously hostile I'll search anything that looks interesting.

If there's nothing that seems interesting, I'll search the area we wind up in.

What if you were unable to discover the axe's ability? Yeah, Identifying is a skill.

If I don't know, try it on anyways.  I'm risky, but not stupid enough to intentionally equip an axe I know is cursed.

Hope you can use one of the map programs I posted to make a map! :)

Hopefully I can regenerate magic naturally, but lets see if I can help it along.

Meditate in an attempt to recharge magical power drawing from the world around me.
Put the dog through some agility drills
Follow behind the rest of the group.

Dog
Report to Knight for agility drills
Bark at the Donkey if he acts stubborn about coming along (making sure to stay at a safe distance away from the kicking end :)  )
Go back to the lead member of the group as a guard dog.

Rat
Go back ahead of the group as a scout, if a hostile creature is encountered, call upon rat friends to keep him busy while humans arrive.

Leave any non-hostile or undetermined creatures alone for humans to determine.

Donkey
Follow behind the group.

Practice wielding two axes so I don't cut myself with them

Practice with axes again

Practice defensive moves with axes

All actions are overridden by "attack enemy" if one appears.

I will sit there and rest.
Turn 5!

Terrahex

Knowing that picklocking is not going to help anyone, attempt to kick the Iron Box!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Hit! You kick the box with all your might, hitting it up against the wall! You deeply bruise your Left Foot!

Hitting it one more time should do the trick, and you know you want the goods! you attempt to kick with your Right foot!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Hit!You break the box! The lock shatters all over the wall! Something inside breaks!] you deeply bruise your Right Foot!

You open the box and take all the goods. You get a (UK)Orb, an (UK)Copper Key,(UK)Bolas, and a (UK)Bandage!
Sorry about the foot injury, but you did gain some nifty items!

Paranatural

Because there is no stairs, you realize waiting here would be a good idea.

You look around the room for anything that would be good to point out., you notice there is a Copper Lock on the Metal Door!

You look around for any loot left behind, you find nothing.
Copper Lock, Copper Key, sounds all good to me.

Knight85

You sit down, crossing your feet, you try to call your inner sanctuary. You feel the presences of peace. You gain 3 mana! (you have four, as your staff has a bonus in your total mana, so your have wisdom of 1/14 as it takes 3 mana to do any magical effect so far, so say hi to your 4/13)

You use your magical powers to get your doggy to start training in some Dexterity!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Slimmed!Your dog finished, but it did not help him. Plus 10 in Animal Training!

You stick back to your position.
Yeah, I get odd's factored in too. The experience will help!

Medium Sized Dog

You follow your masters instructions, but I am afraid that you did not gain anything as you passed by a mere inch, good luck next time!

Dog is following along, seems like he should be cool, you wag your tail at the donkey showing he is being a good donkey he is!

You guard Phillip, as you should guard the one most needed.
Good doggy, don't worry, you will be great someday!(Yes, your dog might someday slay thousands of demons, might.)

Large Rat

Considering the Metal Door is not opened yet, you will go through first! When it is open!(Regardless of its commands.)

You leave the donkey alone for the 'others' to handle and get ready to scout.
Sounds like a idea you should always do about scouting.

Donkey

You know being a stubborn fool will only hirt yourself, you follow everyone else, taking the rear.
Yay you!

Frelock

You start swinging your axe away from the group hopefully to gain some skill on two-handed weapons.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Pass! You gained 10 in Dual Wielding, also, LUCK! you level up thanks to your luck and Karma!

You start swinging your axe away from the group hopefully to gain some skill on two-handed weapons.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Success! You gain 10 in Dual Wielding!

You pretend a beast is fighting you to practice your defence!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Slimmed! You gain 10 in Axe skill, but you did not help yourself.
Woah! Karma Alert!

Phillip

You lay on the ground, and rest. plus 5 on your next action!
Uhh? Ok, Creep!

Group
Suddenly BANG BANG BANG! You hear loud hitting noises on the other side of the door, good thing the door was not hit! Should let the rat go through and check it out!

This is the second floor so far, sorry that the door is wooden, they have no Metal Doors, I'll try to fix that next time using my epic modding abilities!
