Found a very odd natural structure.

this appeared on the worldmap as a two-tile long river.

Interesting,
looks like originally this was a high  plateau (with the river flowing in the midsts of it)
but due to an earthquake/cavern collapse a lot of the plateau has slumped down,
leaving only the part which we can see now as a rock needle
(with the river, which is frozen now, falling down as a waterfall in times when it is warm enough)

So you build your entrance right under the hanging sheet of ice? Is there a place I can nominate you for some kind of dwarven medal of dwarfness?

That sort of bug has been around for a little while now, saw it once or twice in 40D.

Always wished you could dig up always frozen rivers like that and find cool old things in the ice though.
