I was getting tired of making my LoathingMod, so I switched gears and made this simple creature mod because nobody else appears to have yet.
http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2199Seven dragons with unique-ish material breaths. Contains creature file and base template for breath attacks. Can be used with any mod that doesn't remove the base tissue/material/body plan templates or vanilla body raws.
The seven types of dragon are quite rare. All of them can be found in the deepest recesses of the underground, and many of them can be found in certain locales on the surface. Though all are a fair bit smaller than their elder megabeast brother, they are still quite large, quite dangerous, and are attracted by the smell of food and the allure of shiny things.
The seven types of dragons so far are as follows:
Copper Dragon
Its thick, smoky breath induces intense fatigue. Though not as dangerous as the others, it can cripple a portion of your military for a lengthy span of time.
Emerald Dragon
Its noxious breath is rather toxic. Though not fatal, it can make your dwarves miserable for a while (and easier to devour).
Lilac Dragon
High-voltage currents run through its bodily fluids. Contact with its breath causes mild pain and disorientation. Contact with its blood or saliva causes much more severe syndromes.
White Dragon
One of the more dangerous dragons. Its breath is intensely cold, and the coating it forms on your dwarves will eventually freeze them to death unless they quickly jump in water or wash it off.
Sirocco Dragon
These dangerous beasts can move with the wind at high speeds in a cloud of dust. The windy dust will throw your dwarves around and has a very small chance of damaging the lungs, though that will generally be the least of your worries.
Ruinous Dragon
These fell beasts inhabit the foul lands home to the undead. Their foul breath causes a series of debilitating, rapidly progressing conditions upon your dwarves, making them easier to prey on. Their bite contains many dangerous microorganisms that can cause dangerous necrosis over time, should your dwarves survive.
Cobalt Dragon
The most dangerous dragon of all. Exposure to their deadly breath causes severe melting. Approach with extreme caution.
The Cinnabar Dragon is out for now because I can't get napalm breath to work. Additionally, cobalt dragons were ideally going to boil everything their breath touches, but I can't get that to work either due to wonky temperatures so it just melts creatures at the moment.
