No Booze and no mad thoughts?
« on: April 22, 2010, 06:40:40 pm »

I just found out I'm running out of booze and as I'm speaking, I'm brewing more. For some reason, the dwarves don't care about the missing booze. All they do is just drink from the brook.
Anybody got an explanation why?

Dwarfs work slowly without booze.

Well, the caravan should come shortly, but otherwise, I think I'm fine.

A lack of booze will cause no negative thoughts, but the longer a dwarf goes without booze the slower they work. After no booze for years, when they can't even remember the last time they had booze, they seem to work at about half speed.

Hauling is fine and all done normally, but any sort of job, such as workshops, seem to take at least twice as long to complete. Your production will grind to a near standstill without booze.
