Pretty good.

However:
Hydrating the tides of men. You mean "Quenching thirst of the tides of male dwarves"? I don't think the two variants are easily interchangeable. You can be dehydrated, but you can't simply backward derive hydrating from it... Ah, in DF you can, nevermind.

@moocowmoo: Nice one. I think there is a particular genre for this kind of poem, though I don't recall how it's called.

Oh... Then I've never even known its name... but always suspected it should have one...

Hell, yeah! They're the basis for one of everybody's favorite cartoons here in Russia... from the USSR era... Translations that is, of course. Although again, I don't recall what it was.
