The new Historical figure combat dialogue.
« on: April 21, 2010, 08:32:51 pm »

I don't know for sure these are new dialogue or not, but I found this quite interesting.

Also the goblins are... uh... Ass monster law-giver?

Weird...

I haven't seen most of those lines either.

"Ass monster law-giver" refers to the fact that the creature currently addressing you is a demon in the form of an ass (donkey) who has escaped to the surface and taken control of the goblin civilization either via forceful takeover or democratic election. You can probably get the specifics in Legends.

Nah, those've been there before. I poked around in the speech file, and found all of those, even in 40d#.

It was a demon, so that's sorta... arguable.

Yeah, but I used to get it from Elves and Humans all the time. About Dwarves.

Soooo.... yeah, the people in the game have some weird kinks.

EDIT: BAHAHAHA it's one of those ass-monsters again.

She-bulls.  That's very interesting.

And the name of "ass" used only for demons/titans is pretty deliberate, seeing as everywhere else in the game, donkeys are just referred to as "donkeys."

"Whom was fed" is an unfortunate hyper-correction.  "Who was fed" is right.

If you google "Ass Monster", you should get a good idea of what this is.   ;D
Anyway, I love hearing those lines from the semimegabeasts.  I like to think they just sit there all day thinking of clever ways to describe their kills.

Then explain...
Zebras, Moths, Koalas...?

There are many hardcoded raws.
