Second one, providing there's an option to remove the pink.

Sorry.  The pink was just there so I could see what the hell I was doing.  Imagine it transparent wherever there is pink.

Only problem with the transparency and the first one is that on white backgrounds, all you'll see is the grey beard.

Personally though, I like the fourth one.

Sorry.  I didn't realize there were "mini-beards".  I meant for the four on the end to have no beard at all.  I decided to make one like that because of the following comment.

View the actual picture then, you should be able to see a tiny gray area on the bottom.

Yeah I noticed that right after I posted.  Trying to fix that now.  What color do you suggest?

I think basically anything that makes the eyes non-yellow would work, since the mouths show up quite nicely against the beards.  On the other hand, that will make the rest of your theme look a bit odd...

Try light brown, maybe?

What is happening? I don't know what's happening and I feel like I'm three days late to the newness party.

The unfortunate thing is that everything looks fine in the Darkling Theme. (For me at least)  I think Contrast will look better with a darker-than-white fill in the face.  Unfortunately, this ruins the eyes.
