Hi!

I liked it a lot as well:

My favorite aspect is that Oggez Rashas sleeping on the pump looks just adorable/cute. I can really understand Rena's (Higurashi no naku koro ni) "mochi-kaeri". I would want to take that home as well.

In addition, I like that you did not try to murder your dwarves, but really tried to save them, thus showing an attitude I sometimes miss in some conversations here.

I hope this inspires many more styles of LPs to be done, it seems that most of the community games where borrowing mostly from Boatsmurdered but this is new and fresh and hopeful the DF community will add to this and make even more amusing stylistic representations, hell maybe even animated shorts. I also like how quick of a read this is compared to many LPs.

man I really want to do something like this (a short, easy to read and funny DF story) but nothing that interesting ever happens to me in DF  :-\

the last forgotten beast I got just floundered around in the water and then left without killing anyone  :'(

Embark in a location with elephants.
Buy giant leopards and jaguars from the elves.
Release the leopards and jaguars.

That is likely to yield "interesting" results with elephants. Note that you will probably not want giant tigers as they are actually quite good at finishing off the elephants (at least all the dead elephants I have seen were killed by the giant tigers or the traps).

When fun doesn't find you, you must make it on your own. I suggest attempting to engineer a magma firing orbital laser through the use of untold pumps and a grid of pipes suspended high above the ground.

Adamantine. More than Vermin.

That is all.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

This. Is. Epic.

You sir, win the internet.

Also, welcome to the forums. Your stay here is more than welcome, for we always need more blood for the blood god experienced artists.

P.S. Can I post these photos on Dwarf Fortress's Facebook page? Giving credit and all, of course.

And then call the engineer Dwarf Vader?
