Im just saying this even if its a dumb question is the bacteria resistable? say a butcher that uses it all the time will become immune to getting sick?

The syndrome is resistible, meaning that dwarves with high disease resistance can avoid contracting it. However, continued exposure would not increase said resistance AFAIK.

Exactly.  My dwarves lead a weird horrid Silent Hill lifestyle, where they breed disgusting creatures from the underworld and craft them into a tower built to please armok.
