There is no gorilla!

So I have a nice herd o gorillas I have captured, and I am trying to tame them, but when I go into the kennel and go to 'tame large animal' or what ever no creatures show up, anyone else having this trouble?  I was able to tame elephants when I had them in other games.  I want war gorillas.  There shall be a planet of the apes!

I'm not sure, but gorillas are probably [EXOTIC].

I didn't think I would need a DM, seeing as I didn't for elephants.  I will check the raws and see if elephants arent exotic for some reason.

EDIT:  Elephants are only exotic mounts apparently, but they are perfectly normal pets >.< who knew.  Need that stupid DM now...

I guess that any animals that have been domesticated routinely in reality are defined as tamable.

Training circus animals would require the skillz of the DM or RingMaster.

Gorilla leather army! Gorilla meat is good too. :3

Or you could mod gorillas so they're only [PET] not [PET_EXOTIC]. That way, you can get started without the DM.

Do preassigned nobles still come in with migrants? I haven't seen any, so you might HAVE to mod them.

Does the MOUNT portion of MOUNT_EXOTIC mean that, once my DM arrives, I can finally mount my war elephants? In a purely platonic fashion? They aren't cows, after all.
