Weight and Speed
« on: April 19, 2010, 04:48:03 am »

I have an 8k corpse and i get max speed (1992) while carrying it.  Yet I only get 400 speed when I carry a 15k corpse.  I have leg armor user and have super dwarven Strength.  Why do I get such crappy speed?

Yes but then the three children hanging off her will catch fire.
And that's stopped people before...?

Weight-induced speed penalties seem to be incremented in an exponential pattern. It's fine until you hit max weight, and then your speed just plummets.

When dwarves want to commit suicide, then by Armok, they _will_ commit suicide, even if they have to spend the rest of their lives working at it!

So there is no way to bring my speed up?

You can always throw that corpse at something for great damage and leave it there.
