Hmmm, I don't know about a bridge being built from booze... from coal yes, but booze... especially to where it'd be as explosive as its barrel counterpart.

Yeah, internal organs may be affected by a temperature and/or physical damage. So you can break your heart pretty easy.

Could we, possibly, built the floodgates from coal and then run magma across the level under the entrance to cause the flaming?

What I mean is...

We set up a load of coal floodgates.
Gobbies come and we use the floodgates to trap them.
Pull lever and magma pumps into the level below.
Floor heats up to the point of burst.

Would that work?

a quick experimentation allowed me to determine some facts about flammability of stuff:

floodgates don't catch on fire from magma beside them.

Bridges also don't catch on fire from magma beside them, unelss magma is actually on one of the brdige's tiles (be it raised or down)

Wooden bridges catch on fire from 1/7 magma falling on them and deassemble quickly.

Coal bridges catch on fire from 1/7 magma and burn for a good long while
