Hm, I'm not sure Ziril is crazy enough to do that... Maybe one of the characters is, though. ;)

Dear lord, I'm a glassmaker. Tell me, is there even any sand on the map? If not, good thing I requested a military dwarf!

If you gave them a biome then the Elves may indeed start turning up with Wagons in cages.
Well, it does tie in to the fact that personality-wise, dragons are nothing more than gigantic, scaly, firebreathing cats.

Yup! It's a white sand soil layer.

What would you like your name and or job to be?

From the diary of Ziril Gusgashsigun, 17th of Moonstone, 1051.
Well, the merchants assured me that they were "ecstatic with the trading," so hopefully next year they'll bring more booze. In the meantime, I ordered Nil to start brewing. He's no good, but it's better than a slow death by alcohol deprivation.

We'll run out of plants to brew in no time, though, so I've started an underground farm.

Well, planned one anyway. The miners are still working on the theatre.
And a butcher's shop, for meat, and a tanner's shop, so that Led's talents don't go to waste.

Skuld told me a rumor, about caverns underground with plants, and trees. Animals. I don't put much stock in it, but I'll be careful when digging deep in any case. Johann, on the other hand, ate it up.

In other news, we found a strange sort of stone recently...I'm not sure what to make of it.

Can I request a dwarfing?
If so, I'll take Moldath Logemocig, renamed Kadzar, with the custom profession, "Assistant to Miss Ostathonul".

But... There are no trees...

Well, okay!

Trees will grow. And if not, find moar caverns.

From the diary of Ziril Gusgashsigun, 10th of Opal, 1051.
Out of wood again. I'm beginning to think that digging deep isn't such a bad idea.

What am I saying, of course it's a bad idea!

We started butchering dogs and bulls today. Black-Hat was stoic, but I swear he was crying on the inside.

From the diary of Ziril Gusgashsigun, 28th of Opal, 1051.
Well, we built that well.

I guess I won't have an easy way out anymore.

But I think it was probably a good idea to give it up... For the greater good.

From the diary of Ziril Gusgashsigun, 28th of Opal, 1051.
Surprisingly, or maybe not, everyone except me has found a lot of spare time lately, and have used it to move silver nuggets into Skuld's room. The reason eludes me. Cabin fever, perhaps?

In other news, Mr. Rulushast, our outpost liaison, refuses to leave me alone. He follows me incessantly, no matter how many times I've asked him to go home with our requests. I think he's scared to leave without a caravan. He won't answer my questions about the General either. Perhaps it's because I have been trying to avoid referring to my mission?

From the diary of Ziril Gusgashsigun, 22nd of Slate, 1052.
Kubuk Dalzatdegel has been acting rather strange lately. First she holes himself up in a craftdwarf's workshop, and then she begins making these weird little drawings.

As soon as I even noticed she was in there, she suddenly took off! What is with him?

A few days later...

Kubul's profile says Kubul's a she. ;P Did she get legendary in engraving?

Have we breached the caverns yet?
If not...
