Well, before everything goes completely pear-shaped, I'd like to point out that the really cherry puns were used up by page two or tree, and that the only way anyone could manage to make any new ones is to sloppily graft them on to an unrelated post.

Get it?  Post.  Post, you know, like the kind they use for fences.  They're made out of wood.

I hope someone is logging all these puns. We can count the age of each one by how many rings there were. I pine for something to be done about this acorn of epicness.

Well I mulberry wrong, but I think that only apples to trees. This has been a veritable orchard of wit, though, so I'm sure we'll be resting on our laurels once it's done.

Perhaps I shouldn't say this, but some of the "puns" are just awful. They're often not even close enough to tell what the poster meant.

Of course my puns are perfect ;)

It chars me to see my context is none more than a drift. By count of rings I speak of course of mentions made. I'm sorry if I stumped you guys with my knotted wit.

This thread hasn't become a dust bowl already has it? Have the locusts already cleared the field?

Well, while this thread might be wilting to oblivion, it was sguaro (err, square) while it lasted. Its sad, and now the LACK of puns seems to be a pain in the grass.
