Man clicks count for a lot in DC I got a egg with twice as many views but half as many clicks and it has not hatched.

The forums are settling you can fix it by going to your profile and find the option to turn it back on.

Okay, I found out that views do contribute to dragons. This is because of Jack_Bread's fully grown dragons with 1-6 clicks or whatnot. If you do not want to be used to grow dragons, go to your profile, Modify Profile-Look and Layout, and uncheck "Show images in post signatures". Alternatively, use an adblock add-on to block the dragon cave site.
