Okay, napalm seems to be working. Currently you just "find" a bottle and then "ignite" it, but it's just for test. Later I will make you to craft all the stuff :P.

Well, the death itself is considered to be of a stupid reason. They just "die in a heat", so it's not considered a kill. Still it's fun to set people on fire. And actually it's not fire, current DF tissue system reacts a bit weird: the skin remains intact, but the FAT starts to burn and somehow BLEED even though the skin is intact :P.

I have a suggestion for napalm bottles. You should have to have sand to make the bottle when you can make it.I don't know what could be used to make the napalm though...Maybe a "Strange Container" as an uncommon item?

(Edit) Machete's are really broken, hemp fiber shirts can block a black bronze machete and silkworm silk robes can too.

I will look into materials, currently machete has the same strength as Genesis short sword, but I didn't touch materials so that must be it.

I totally forgot about lancers, sorry. They will make it into 1.0. And disk throwers.

I think just scrap glass + junk should do it. I don't want too many specialized items because it will be a hell of a micromanagement.

I think just scrap glass + junk should do it. I don't want too many specialized items because it will be a hell of a micromanagement.
Styrofoam + gasoline + railroad blasting cap == homemade napalm bomb...well...it's not technically "napalm", but it floats on water and still burns and clings to stuff like a bastard...I mean...I never played with the stuff...no way sir!

All you need is a gelling agent to mix with the gasoline. Soap is a popular such gelling agent. Soap already exists in DF.

You forget that it's for adventure mode only, and if you have to make a soap and get gasoline and stuff to make a single bottle which does almost nothing... Well, I doubt anyone will do it :). It's there just for some fun. Don't you agree?

Also I've finally woke up: I've slept half a day after being awake the whole previous night. At least I don't feel ill now :).

Okay I've tested and adjusted materials a bit, and I am fine with cloth rarely blocking edged weapons. It's a matter of attack stopping power of cloth because of its big coverage, and I quite like this way: it means that the defender uses the cloth to evade the blow. Notice that blows which come through still break bones and destroy bodyparts, so it's quite good. I don't want instakills with melee, I want to make ranged weapons a powerful choice and melee a good but not insta-killing combat.

But sledgehammers definitely need a buff, I work on it.
