Kaelam: Did you change the resolution settings in the init.txt?

Also there's a lot of 12x12 tilesets om the wiki (df.magmawiki.com).

When it asks you for a "hammerstone", you just need a rock in your hand. You need to have all items you use for crafts in your hands OR on the ground, but rocks disappear if you drop them, so you should hold one.

I'm pretty sure I did, you have to remember (unless that's a little out of date)  you got the 80x25 minimum,  which means 80 tiles across and 25 tiles down/up is the lowest you can go... I mean I can try again once I'm back up on my computer.  though the grid calculators (those really need to be updated) the grid required for the size of this set is 64:37.

Also didn't you make changes to the tiles/raws to get all the people represented?  Which is why I'm hesitant about using one of the 12x12 already on the wiki.

Hey Deon,I just have a question about something:is it possible to make a gun that will shoot random objects? (severed limbs, rocks, crafts etc)(edit)you need an axe to gather wood, since I don't think there are axes in Wasteland I think that is a bit impossible (yes I tried it with a chainsaw) (edit)I forgot you could make a stone axe  :-[

who needs a gun that shoots random objects when any person can throw practically anything faster than a gun can shoot... ... ...that's it!  Everyone has a rock-it launcher! (but yeah, no...I mean...you might be able to...I don't know...but then you would have every single item in the game showing up in the ammo list, as well as being dumped in the ammo piles...and why do that when you can already pick up a bird and decapitate a 50 foot metal monster with it.)

rippers also work for cutting wood.

Hey deon, in the next version can you add in a way to make gun-parts from metal bars (iron maybe, so we can't spam copper guns), because I find that they are so rare(my caravans are always getting killed so I can never request them...), getting a half-decent military up is near impossible.

Well, the original idea was that you can't get guns on the fly so you HAVE to trade and protect caravans, but I may rethink it. I haven't playtested caravan protection really :).

Also don't forget that you can grab gun parts on embark.

I woke up this morning and realized how much I loved life, and how much I hate work, but then it comforted me - because I remember that Deon is the true love of my life by working on Fallout mod for DF again.

Yeah it sounds funny. And I am happy that you like my work. You know, I don't have time to play everything I make, I don't make it for myself :).

I seem to keep finding copper wiring out the wazoo, I bet I could make an entire electrical complex from the amount by now!

I just desire more uses for scavaging materials right now next ver, along with the standard fixins. Cause its only required at the moment for some advanced things, but some of the things aren't very vital.

It could be kinda cool if you could make "advanced" versions of things like masons and the like, requiring the scavenged parts, and they would construct things faster, with the original places (without scavenged/materials) are slower.

would something along the line of a production facility be possible, for example take 10 stones, and make 10 blocks from them, all in one run, but it might require multiple belts, mechanisms, gears and energy cells?  Also let it take multiple logs and make multiple barrels/bins/ect.?

actually...I think that might work...I'm gonna try that when I get off work (work compy can't run DF...poor ancient thing...)

also...Idea!...rocket launchers...with rockets having a ridiculously high surface area...causing massive gibs!

Yeah, it would work. Of course you won't notice a difference with your extra experienced vault dwellers which craft stuff on the fly, but it should be much more efficient for not-so-experienced workers.

Also, I thought about rocket launcher, but if it is BLUNT then it's some kind of a cannon, not rocket, and if it's EDGE then it's like a huge disc (in terms of damage).

Giant saw blade launcher? Sounds like a good idea to me.

Well if you remove the [MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE] tag from dwarves I think they have like 2-4 children each time they give birth. And if you get enough mothers up on the pillars you can probably get a good waterfall going.
