Hold-up? I have my last exams, that's what . It's a temporary problem and I try not to make it to be longer than it can be.

Also god damn it, I failed the same exam today again. I mean I passed it even back then, but I keep getting a low grade so I keep asking my professor to allow me to retry it .

Yeah, I don't like bad marks. Also the teacher is my old friend (I knew him long before I became a student) and it's not the situation where your friend says "hey, buddy, get five and you're fine", it's the opposite ("hey buddy I care about your education so you should LEARN IT BITCH!") .

I had a long theory about education...

First of all, teachers want everyone to pass and get a college degree(I think?)

Any who, I hope everyone fails but me, because if more people pass, and considering I am going to a Techno High school next year and a Techno College, There is going to be more of a challenge for me to do something. Because first of all, more people are in that field and are probably going to be against you. Second, any Idea's they have might be an Idea you were working on only they are done with there's by now. Third of all, you don't get as much money ! But that's me being all confusing and shit. All I am trying to say is that the more people that get a good education (Preferably a Master or Doctorate like I will be getting) means they will most likely also be successful probably limiting your chances of being successful.

Nah it makes perfect sense, I'm currently sunburnt as hell and working at a vineyard because I went to a local college where the teachers had high expectations and low teaching skills, instead of going to a Good college where I might have actually learnt more than how to use a simple 3d program I could have learned from watching Youtube tutorials. (basically I wanted a game design course and settled for animation, and its a terrible animation course at that.. made a few good teacher friends though)

(ps: I dont hold youtube very high up on technical teachings, hence why I said youtube and not something like DigitalTutor )

@Deon: I'm satisfied with having Genesis until this is updated to .8 but I'm just itching to play this pretty badly. (havent since 40d)
is it directly portable ontop of a .8 installation you figure?

It is because it makes no graphical changes (yet) and raws are totally compatible between all 0.31.* versions.

P.S. I would be careful with /data/init/ folder though. Do not copy init.txt directly, I am not sure if it's changed, but rather modify it manually.

I'd rather see him polish it up a bit first, because this is actually all I play in terms of DF (and oh do I love it).

Yeah my next release (soon) will fix the currently a bit half-assed scavenging system and I will focus on custom reactions and workshops more. I have plans for other stuff too though, thus it will come along.

About aliens, I have "classical" ones (vanamingo were often called aliens in Fallout 1/2 although they were not actual aliens per se).

And feral ghouls are almost zombies. I plan to expand on them, probably add a sieging entity to them.

I can get them in Genesis easily . Diablo critters are fantasy-ish.
