Reading Apperence Modifiers
« on: April 16, 2010, 12:45:54 am »

Hi,
I was wondering if there is anyway to read body appearance modifiers from memory. I looked at DFHack source and didn't see anything related ???. Any pointers are welcome.
Also, is there a way to make sense of all the dat files in save folders?

edit: Maybe i shoud be more specific.
I am playing df almost after a year or so and see that in df2010 there is quite a lot of descriptive information about every dwarf(and other sentients). And this corresponts to appearence tags in the raws i believe. So i was thinking may i could read these tags for every dwarf and create sort of a procedurally generated potrait unique to every dwarf. Would be pretty cool i think, if could be done.
But i am totally new to memory hacking and wiki wasn't too helpful.
