My backstory should be up at some point.  I keep getting distracted by other things, and tweaking, and scumming elven adventurers for physical description statements.

Ok, character sheet finished, finally.  I looked at my backstory, considered that you were quite willing to make things up, and erased everything but the essential bits so you would have more to play with.  Enjoy =).  I also posted elf cultural notes for how I envision (at least my) elven culture to work.

Note: The masterwork boning knife is a normal dagger should it come up in combat, but is masterwork for the purposes of Profession (Butchery) - both uses paid for.

Also, I assumed i could have about 1lb of nails for 1sp.

Alright, I think everything's pretty much done. So we're at Darkmyst, tomorrow, 7:00, right? Guess I'll see you guys there. :D

i'll be there at 6 if people need to ask questions, or something. Maybe do a bit of RP before major plot hooks come up.

Genoraven, as long as you're on, I just wanted to confirm: no problems with my elf theory or brief backstory blurb?  I'd be happy to help if you wanted to try to work something into my backstory, as well - i reduced it to a sketch to make doing so easy.

I might make the stuff specific to your elven civilization. Others would be similar, but they may have different reasons or practices. But they're good now.

Also deities. If you haven't picked one feel free to make one up. Or you can choose Already made dnd gods. I can tell you 2 of the gods i have roles for are Armok and Fharlanghn(god of travel). These are also 2 that would possibly be important in the story.

Hmm... I think I will be a devoted worshipper of X.

X is an elven deity associated with forests, death, and cannibalism.

Where X is a name that I will come up with trying to generate random elf names.... Sigh, creating characters are so much harder when you have to use the DF engine to vet language things...

Whatever god would count as the god of glory and battle, that's the one my dude worships.
I'll also be on at 6 EST. In the west coast,so that'd be 3 pm.

I've just got to finalize some things before then, mainly backstory and purchases...

For the backstory though, I'm undecided about it. I've got a few potential candidates, and I'm probably going to go with one of them, (Well, yeah. :V) but I was wondering what you thought about an Elf that was exiled (For lying or something, probably, those elves and their judicial system...) and grew up around humans, thus negating the cannibalism and other certain things, namely DON'T TOUCH THAT PLANT YOU MURDERER brainwashed-ness...? :D

But yeah, got to buy stuff and do backstory. Also make sure I didn't miss out on stat points or skills anywhere. <_<

sounds like a good backstory. I would make the reason for his exile something more serious, like trampling a sapling.
