The Shop charter will discuss the shops allowed in each area. The area where your shop is based is classed as a Poor district. Poor districts are allowed to sell basic foodstuffs and water, Pornographic material that is provided by the government , Furniture. Selling books is strictly PROHIBITED and is punishable by death.

The public accommodation charter is to discuss the use of Public Accommodation. Public Accommodation is to be used by any members of Britain that is not in possession of their own home. Children are to move into Public Accommodation at the age of 16. To move out of Public Accommodation subjects are to register to opt out of PA. To do this they must fill out the appropriate form, show their citizenship papers and the deed to their new place of residence. Failure to check into any PA Checkpoint will result into the Re-establishment, Interrogation and Rehabilitation

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

Heh, you can sell porn but not books?

Right, let's purchase and sell nonperishable food and water.

Purchasing Government Canned Food and Government Standard Issue Water will cost £90 for a shop of your size to be fully stocked.

*  Deed to a small shop

We would need 1 man at a time a possibly swap around in shifts. The government regulations states that all shops are to stay open only between the times of 9AM and 5PM and breakage of the these Guidelines will result in R.I.R.

[Also, how did you get that very snazzy dotted Underline that adds additional information Ched, that's awesome!]

Use (acronym=Biggest shop in the land. Bigger than 30 Wal-Marts combined. Unfortunately, still to small to stock your mom)huge shop(/acronym) except with brackets, [], instead of parentheses, ().

Stock shop with food and water
One man man (heh) the shop
Six men do odd jobs

The rest of your party does odd jobs where you take control of the store. Food is in demand in areas such as this where the Population is growing rather quickly. Standard Issue Bottled Water is also in high demand as it is often quicker and easier that walking to local dirty well or using erratic water system.

The shop has earned a good £20 today. That is £50 from today all together.

Objective: Topple the government
Inventory:
7 members
190 pounds
Small shop
The shop has sold approximately 1/9 of the Food and 1/5 of the water that has been stocked

One member is tasked with running the shop, the other men do their assorted odd jobs except for one man who has been tasked with carefully talking to and picking out members of the public who may be willing to join our cause.

There have been nobody who looks like they wish to join.

A newspaper headline this morning reads:

Relations with America worsened

There are other headlines such as:

Canned food production moved to the northeast

Spanish pirates strike again

Rise in Crime over past year

Awesome forum game.

Can we fast-forward a week with one recruiter/one seller/five jobbers and auto-buy when supplies run out?

Dwarf's sentiment is legitimate. I would like it if there was some sort of action going on, you know, not just boring old getting stuff over and over again.

You fast forward a week.

( + £ 350 )

Your recruiter has found one regular to the shop who is always complaining about the regime and moans about how bad life has gotten under the Fascists.

The shop is in need of a restock tomorrow

One of the odd jobbers got a small rise. You will now make £70 a day.

Inventory:

7 members
540 pounds
