I command my zombie to search for the original sir pickle. He shall tell him that i have great plans, and i also will provide him with items and power. Oh and say that i`m sorry for taking his gear- Didn`t know he was sentient. He might become my second in command. If he accepts he shall wait before the city, hidden if possible.
Then i shall enter the city and i will do
a lot of research. Sorry but i have great plans.
I shall try to find out...
-Which gods the people in the city worship.
-Whether the city is independent or ruled by another, greater kingdom or something like this.
-How Necromancy is looked upon.
-Whether the populace knows about Goblin tribes living nearby.
-Whether Goblins are sentient.
-Whether the People are unhappy or happy in general. (Important!)
-How big the city is- Do hundreds, thousands or more live in her?
-Are there any corrupt officials?
-Are there bands of robbers nearby?
-How strong is the strongest individual in town?
-How many beggars are there? None, some, many?
-Is the city under constant attack or are they quite secure?
-How many city guards do i see while i walk through the streets? Many, some or none? How strong is the garrison in general?
-Who rules the city? And how? Is the ruler cruel, just or well.. normal?
-Are there many weapons to be had?
-How many empty buildings are there?
-How is magic viewed in general upon?
-How much do the people trust priests?
-Where is the graveyard?
-Is there an old battlefield nearby?
-Are any caves nearby? Are some of those empty? (e.g as in creatureless)
-Is the city rich or poor? How much food is there?
-How easy can you access the corpses of condemned? Is the graveyard in or outside of the town? And how well is he guarded?
-Are there any mercenaries to be hired? Or Adventurers?
-How educated are the people?
-What lies beyond the town?
I shall try to convince as many beggars and unhappy guys to meet me at some place in the town, where we can talk in peace, undisturbed.
