All + to luck, exept what goes over and does not provide a level, rest to magic

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Clearly what happened is a body swap.  Why else would the dude start swearing right as he's about to get slapped by a man who's about to gasp his last breath.

Do not get touched by people who are about to die =v

Well, yes, but the fact that Cretus knew the woman's name ( whereas we didn't ) and apparently loved her, implies that we were never actually him to begin with, just some force possessing his body. Which would make us... something else  :o

I've had my name said wrong at least 10 times so far in my whole forum life.
Oh, HORROR! This is clearly a travesty of untold proportions! The typo gods truly have brought their wrath down upon this poor man!

Who said that the name he yelled out was the bitchy woman's name?  It could have just been his lover or wife and just felt like yelling out a last declaration of his love before dying.

I like all the story guessing. I have actually fleshed out the story a little bit more, so hopefully it'll feel more like a real world!

Turn Nine (Luck: 40+20 = 60, XP: +60)

Nice! +20 to each roll, and you won't get any negative XP this Turn!*

>I want to Tell Belinda that I shot Cretus, in the hopes that she knows something that I do not. Who's Belinda?! We should figure this out first...

>I want to Loot the warhammer. (Looting: 22+20 = 42, XP: +42)

You loot the warhammer! Although, you feel that you would be extremely poor at attempting to use it.

>I want to Shoot the bitch whose name he said. Okay, but who's that?

>I want to Pull my cloak on, then make an awesomely stylish escape, looking for a sign post! ((Style: 14+20 = XP: +34) + (Observation: 43+20 = 63, XP: +63))/2 = (Stylish Observation = 48.5)**

I haven't a cloak! However, looking like a badassedly mustachioed and rather handsome fellow, I take a look down the street and notice, about 200 yards away, a signpost! Taking a mental note of where Crazy Lady's House is, I walk down the street and gander at the sign. You read the sign:
  • Inner Woodbury N, 1 mi
  • Camphart Falls SE, 24 mi
  • Islands of the High Priest Ferry access at the docks W, 240 mi
  • Mount Layneburg, Beechpalm, Eastton, Riverwich E, good luck!

    STATUS:

    Name: Unknown
Location: Woodbury; on a street, in the south part of the outskirts of the city, looking at a signpost that details other locations!

Surroundings: (Observation: -18+20 = 2, XP +2): Nothing strikes out at you about your surroundings.

    Health:

    No wounds!

    Blood: 5600 / 5600 mL

    Skills:

    Level 2
  • Luck (273/300) (213+60 = 273)
  • Speech (272/300)
Level 0+
  • Observation (65/100) (0+63+2 = 65)
  • Looting (42/100) (0+42 = 42)
  • Magic (36/100)
  • MODStyle (34/100) (0+34 = 34)

    Level -1
  • Warhammer (-193/-200)
Level -3
  • Dancing (-386/-400)
Inventory:

Monocle
Top Hat
Watch Chain
Gun
Vest
??? (In vest pocket)
Warhammer

*New Rule Discovered: Luck rolls > 50 negate negative XP. Conversely, Luck rolls < -50 negate positive XP.
**New Rule Discovered: Skill modifiers can help to balance out rolls.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Turn Ten (Luck: 38+20 = 58, XP: +58, Level up!)

Nice! +20 to each roll, and you won't get any negative XP this Turn!

>I want to Go to Inner Woodbury. (Travelling: -37+20 = -17, XP: 0)

The sign says North, but you are currently disoriented! You think North is to your left, but the sign is pointing right! Worse yet, another part of the sign is pointing South, but that part is perpendicular to the Inner Woodbury part of the sign... No wait... You're confused. You're about to ask someone when you feel an odd weight in your pocket.

>I want to Inspect ye thing, 'tis in thy pocket, you know of what I speak.. (Observation: 49+20 = 69, XP: +69, Level up!)

You take the object out of your pocket, and its touch chills your hand almost immediately. It's very cold. Looking at it from above, it just looks like a stone. A regular normal stone that also happens to be impossibly and perfectly round. Having a sort of instinctual spasm, you hold it up to the afternoon sunlight. Sure enough, the stone is clear as air when held to the light, except in the very center, a solitary black dot about the size of a tiny pebble. On a whim, you wedge the stone onto the top of the sign post. You circle the stone widely, and the black dot comes away from the center towards you. It's difficult to see at the angle you are, but it is surely doing that. The stone is pointing to you. You wonder how many more stones like this one there might be.

>I want to Check time. Assure that it is not near dusk. You check your watch. It is 4 O'Clock! It's getting somewhat late...

>I want to Enchant my gun to fire at higher speeds. ((!!!)Enchanting: -31-30+20 = -41, XP: 0)

You grab your gun and decide that you have enough time to throw a small enchantment on it before dusk! As you chant your magical words, the gun starts to float and tears itself from your hands! It hovers in front of you, and begins to rotate. Suddenly, it fires! The bullet lodges itself in your gut! The enchantment left you unable to move, and the gunshot knocks you to the ground. You crack your head slightly on the ground, and you are dazed! The gun clatters to the ground next to you, emitting smoke that smells a bit off.

Surroundings: (Observation: -44-10+10+20 = -19, XP 0): You're almost blacked out! How are you supposed to learn anything about your surroundings?!

  • Head slightly bleeding (-31)
  • Dazed; -10 to all rolls
