The only quests I've finished are the 2x Volvi/G. Jaggi and the 2x Lagombi/G. Baggi ones, and some harvest tours. It's super intimidating.

And for some reason, the Argosy's still parked in town with "4 days" left before they depart. I can assure you that it's been way longer than 4 days and they're STILL not gone. When will they leave? This started at the time the village Brachy quest became available, and now I've done every 7* (the one with volcano harvest tour can't remember sorry) except the single Duramboros one. It's annoying because I wantto upgrade my boats, but they'll mever change their available goods if they don't get the hell out of Moga Village already

They stay in town until you finish that rank of village quests. So kill that Duramboros.

Yeah, I'm having trouble getting nargacuga hides for one of my bowguns. At least these upgraded Zinogre duals will make it easier.

Also I killed a deviljho yesterday. I now have a powertalon. I am a badass.

I haven't really had any trouble with the desire sensor.  Once I even got 3 earth dragongems from a single jhen mohran fight.

Yes, but did you /need/ those dragon gems? Or was it "oh, three rare items i don't need. okay. cool I guess." If the latter, desire sensor wouldn't come in on that.

Yeah, I needed 2 for my jhen mohran armor and another for my yan yue dao.

This happens to me with deep dragongems. I need Ceadeus horns to upgrade one of my Ceadeus weapons, and I end up getting more gems than horns. So I make some more weapons, need some more horns to upgrade them, get some more dragongems, and so on.

And when I need a Zinogre Jasper, I fight thirteen of them before I get one.

Man, it's true. I got 3 deep dragongems in my first 2 Ceadeus fights, and to this day I have never seen a single Ceadeus Fur. Oh sure, I got just enough G. Ceadeus Fur to make the Goldbeard chestplate (screw you, coil), but plain old low-rank Ceadeus Fur? None. Never.

Fur is definitely the second hardest thing to get after horns.

So my sister and I were doing the 5* port quest Desert Desertion where you kill a Sand Barioth and a Black Diablos. I was looking for a Black Curlhorn, and she was looking for some random Sand Barioth part.

Naturally, she gets the curlhorn and I get a wide variety of Barioth bits.
