Would love to play this again sometime but I'll have to see if I can get my TV working, been a long while since I've played anything on it. Not to mention it's been literally a year since I've played.

See if you can't hook it to your computer monitor.  I assume you have a computer.

I'm also debating going with a bowgun that can rapid fire crag.  Because that just seems badass.

I have this game, and a free two weeks to play it in. I'm not sure about a USB keyboard, and somehow I doubt the Wii takes a standard headphone jack. I'm also EU, if that makes any difference.

I was hoping the Bowguns allowed you to play MH3 with the WiiMote a little better, was major Disappoint. May get back into playing again with my SnS again...
But tbh I can play with any kind of weapon pretty well...

I use sword and shield the best, greatsword second. I suck with everything else, although that may be due to a lack of practice, relatively speaking. I'm probably fairly rusty with the rest too.

I'd be down for joining up with you guys if you head online again, as long as you don't mind a rusty spear user tagging along.

I'll be online tonight if anyone else wants to hop on.  Group play was pretty fun.  Thinking in practical terms, I may go for a light bowgun with good pierce, or else a megaheavy bowgun and just lay down hurt.

Think that's pretty much impossible. Monitor only has an HDMI input on it besides the good ol' DVI adapter. My TV seems to be working though, so that's good. Pretty amazed at that. I should be able to get on whenever. If you guys are still looking for a chat solution of some kind (Pretty sure that was this thread, maybe not) I could volunteer a few slots of my Vent server. It's only 10 man but that is plenty for a group playing monster hunter. That maxes out at 4 doesn't it?

Also what are you guys.. erm... Friend Codes? IDs? I forget what the multiplayer uses, going to have to learn how to do that tonight.

Server 1 or Server 2, then "all takers" or "rookie only" or "veterans only" or "recruiting" (whatever that one is).  Then it's based on the city gate, and then on the city itself.

Like last night we were on Server 1, Rookie Only, Gate 2, City 1.

So name a hookup, or is that still a good one for us all to meet on?

That's good for me, but I'm going to have to play a little bit so I can grab the first set of gear before I can join up. Had to start fresh, hopefully I can get a half decent weapon soon.

I'd like to hunt some Great Jaggi as well.  Turns out they make for very pierce-friendly bowguns!  So I'll be in S1, Rookies, Gate 2, City 1 hunting Great Jaggi if anyone wants to come help me make a better bowgun!

Hmmmm... I think I'm gonna relearn the controls for a bit, and then I'll hop in with you guys if you're still on. I'm pretty sure my hunter is named Zeox

Tried fiddling with the multiplayer but I'm having Wi-Fi issues (the wii always has been tempermental for me wi-fi wise) so I'll see if I can't get in another time. Also these controls, how do they work!? Need to find my manual.
