I like the decision to make not only the game but the entire freaking engine available in alpha. With some effort you can already make a lot crazy original stuff out of their rather well thought out software.

This game looks... Interesting. Funny how the player models alone feel like they add something to the game, when it would be a somewhat run of the mill tech demo otherwise. I mean the acrobatics and combat looks interesting, but it would still seem kind of bland if it were generic human players. Seems kinda shallow that a simple reskin could do that, but eh, it works. (Yes I'm aware they aren't reskins, the models were clearly designed for their current shape, I'm just simplifying it for my point) I'll have to try and remember this, along with too many other games.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Necroing (again), but I'd like to let everyone know that this thing is still alive. The most recent alpha build was released just last week. Looks like they've been improving the animations and are adding a "duel" mode.

I just found this thing today, when I was linked to a video of Infinity (another awesome-looking indie game that might never be finished), started following random related vids, and ended up watching some bunnies kung-fu each other to death. Instant hook.

They've been making the changelog videos fairly consistantly, anyone whose seen their youtube channel knows its still alive and kick things in the face. (or knifing them in the face with a thrown sword if you do it right.)

Well, yes. But what of the poor folks who are not aware of this yet? The world must know about knife-throwing sword-wielding snap-kicking wall-running bunnies!

This game is amazing, because the rabbits are more or less Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee combined.

Here's a really good (and hilarious) LP of Overgrowth by a YouTuber named Nerd Cubed.

Overgrowth looks better and better each time I look at it. The Art style, the characters, the combat. It's all marvellous and inspired work. Redwall meets Mortal Kombat with something I can't quite put my finger on. Alas, I don't think my laptop could handle such a gorgeous game, but at least I can follow its developments. Definately one to watch.

I just wish I had $30 to throw at this game. It looks amazing and I've only known about it for five hours or so. Agreed, definitely one to keep an eye on.

Perhaps Mirror's Edge or Assassin's Creed? That would account for the (frankly amazing) platforming.

I still know it is alive and I am keeping track of it.

I will say that no, I don't QUITE think the combat is there just yet (or anywhere close in my oppinion) but then again I didn't like "Jedi Academy" style combat.

This game is looking really cool.  I always check out the new videos Wolfire throws out just to see what's going on.  He's been in development for awhile now though.

Like was said before in one of the video comments (or related to it): Even if the game doesn't sell too terribly well, they've got one hell of an engine there for fighting and such.
