What does that mean.. OVERWROTE JOB: Kidnap by Clean Self

That's probably one of your babies cancelling their 'clean self' task because they're being kidnapped.
Were there any snatchers spotted on your map near that alert?
Or maybe it's the other way round...overwriting their 'kidnap' status with a 'clean self' task after being rescued.

Mm I guess it could be a snatcher. Do they clean themself without any soap of hospital?

A Child was Kidnapped, when he was kidnapped he was in the job state, cause he left the map (in Goblin Tucker Back.) He could no longer claim that he was cleaning self. So it genned an error. I think that should be reported...

Well it seems that the job 'Kidnap' was canceled for 'Clean self'. Normally you get the message DWARF cancels kidnap; Too dirty, or something along those lines, but because the message came from an cloaked enemy unit, seems the message is different.

So a thief was going to steel a baby, but then decided to clean itself.

That strongly looks like a debug message.

I just got this message myself, except my fortresses only child is safely tucked away in my storeroom right now.

not a kidnapper in sight

Edit: shortly after that i DID catch a snatcher entering my fortress though

It seems pretty clear, thus, that it's the kidnapper's job, and nothing to do (directly) with the child who's the target of the kidnapping.

a bug that gives one early warning of the snatcher ...

And also seems to indicate that the snatchers have a particular target in mind when they arrive...

Yeah it's the kobold having his kidnap job overwritten by the clean self job.  People have had kobolds bypass statues made out of solid gemstone to take bars of soap and head to a murky pool to clean up.  Then the kobold resumes its previous task.

I had this same sort of thing happen when my manager was injured: OVERWROTE JOB: Construct Building BY Rest. This is the infamous multitasking rester.
