Is it possible to make new types of glass and finally have them act like glass and not stone?

Also is it possible to edit existing workshops like the craftdwarves shot?

PS - Extra question for bonus points: Is it possible to have a workshop that has a reaction that produces one of an assortment of good, such as the craftsdwarves workshop 'create craft' option? How it produces one of a few distinct crafts...

Pretty sure that glass is still one of the hardcoded materials, and existing workshops can't be edited (beyond adding reactions to a select few).
