Oh oh oh oh...
I am brimming with ideas and just never get to them...

Using a bit of maths and working out the speed of which falling lava and pumps take to move said lava back up, a series of Magma Gates that fall in a sequence so that dispite the magma being there there will be a path to the base all the time...

You know like the StarWars:Phantom Menace Geneator room Shield gates that happen towards the end of that spar between the Sith Apprentace and the two Jedi... (What was the point of those really)

I had a great idea for a deadly maze, but the worst thing that I've actually implemented is draining an underground lake to shoulder depth with all the creatures in it, and throwing the gobbos and what-have-you to them. I like seeing my enemies destroying my enemies.

The meanest Trap i can possibly think of is simply letting them in.Into my hellhole of a poorly maintained,mismanaged,run down,constantly under siege fortress to live their lives in pain and starvation.Oh,and no booze.budget cuts,ya know.
