Can someone do me a favour? Check the bug tracker has the bug I mention on this page here? If not, can someone add it?

I may be asking a rather onerous task wrt checking if the bug has already been reported, if so, sorry in advance.  ::)

In addition to what is mentioned in the linked thread, I have experienced this in both 31.01 and 31.03. Also, this mud is present on a fresh embark, before I unpause, and occurs at numerous different z-levels.

Mud in magma is mentioned at least in these two tickets:

Personally i'd hate to have people stare at my working tracker and comment on actions. Makes me wonder how Toady bears it all.

By successfully I mean that it validated and then I was able to sign in before.

Out of interest, is "Human Forest Retreat" normal or a bug? Just asking before doing anything stupid.

Normal, it just means that the humans conquered the elves. In the same way you'll also see dwarven forest retreat and dark human fortress and dark dwarven fortress.

Been there for awhile.  Happens when humans go to war with elves and take it over.  Fairly sure it's normal.   Though I don't see why any same person would not set fire to an elven retreat the moment they set foot in it.

I mean hell, as an adventurer I once entered one and set a fire before I even realized what I was doing.  It's automatic.

Edit: Nin Nin Nin...

Ah, okay, thanks. It explains why all Forest Retreats are suddenly "Human". Thanks.

Go humans! ;)

I think Toady is doing the merge with 40d OpenGL etc stuff at the moment.

That and the forum move and fixing also seems to be eating away at Toady's time.

At least now that the forum is stable, it won't take up his time.
