And why do you think its a bug instead of intended feature?

Sounds intended, they do live underground after all and so would have developed immunity against cave spider bites.

Otherwise underground critters, especially site natives, would keep getting stunned at random intervals.

Because there were a ton of other errors like that in the raws, where a definition was copy-pasted and then not fully corrected to match its destination.

My problem now, after upgrading from 31.02 to 31.03 is that it crashes every few minutes, either to the desktop or a hard crash, which has made my current fortress unplayable.

I had a game transferred from .02 to .03 that kept crashing as well, but my current fort genned in .03 has not crashed during normal gameplay. I think it's something corrupted in the savegame that requires you to start over in the new version.

If y'all have saves that consistently crash, you should definitely upload the save to DFFD and create a report on the bug tracker.  If the crash has an apparent cause, make sure to search the tracker first to see whether it was already reported.

Just as a side note, i'm still using a save from 31.01 with no crash or error in 31.03. So if you do it right, and your save is not buggy to begin with, it's possible. (Delete the old raws in the save folder and copy in the new raws.)

Unless it doesn't work; I have tried registering three times; twice with my hotmail email, and once with my university email. I have yet to recieve a single registration email. I have even asked toady for help, and gotten him to force send a registration email to one of my accounts. It didn't come through. Checking my spam box, it didn't show up there either. I've hence given up, whih is frustrating, because I have a bug or two I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere.

Oh, missed that.

Maybe PM or Email Toady about it?

I have even asked toady for help

Heh, I guess I was distracted and not really paying attention.

Also, regarding hotmail, I have that too and it worked just fine the first time, so, not sure what the problem could be there.
