Yes!  I can't assign them offices, however, so the only positions I can comfortably Tiger-ize are those of Chief Medical Dwarf (hehe) and Broker.

The latter news is fitting, because it will be the Tigerman who next season seizes his caged companions from the elves as a prelude to open war.

Later, we'll see if Tigermen can successfully lead militia squads.  Unfortunately, they don't seem to be able to be assigned as regular squadmembers.

Yeah; the new Elves are bugged. When their civ says [USE_ANY_PET_RACE] it really means any race, including Animalmen, Goblins, Humans, Kobolds, Dwarves and Elves.

Does that mean if you (*gasp*) play as elves, you can buy humans and dwarves and other elves at embark?

I have no idea, all i know is that my Elves consistantly bring me caged Dwarves, Goblins, Humans, Kobolds and Elves, as well as a random assortment of 'tame' Animalmen.

Note that the 'civ building' races are not tamed, but they do seem to be considered part of your civilization, unfortunately the game can't work out what to do with them, so they just sort of wander around looking pretty.

Can you chain them up?  Always nice to have a few elves decorating the place.

Heck, you could chain them up next to the trade depot.  That'd make for an interesting sight as the traders arrive.


This does, of course, require some looking into as to the potential uses of intelligent and semi-intelligent races being "procured" for your fort...  I'm interested to hear the test results on that tigerman war training program.

Man, elves just can't stop being hypocrites. First their wooden crafts and now this. I think I'm going to purge a few Forest Retreats with fire now.
