I certainly see the appeal of mathematics. There's nothing quite like the rush you get when you suddenly understand something you didn't before.

It's why we all do it. Well, that and the satisfaction you can get turning a page of calculations into a beautiful little answer. Good onya!

Math is a lot like video games. You have to spend a few days and weeks on it, and it then it seems so ridiculously easy that you wonder why it was so hard to begin with.

Also it has the same dicks you find in video games - the ones who brag that they're good at it and prefer to confuse noobs and taunt them. It's fun, but all the pretentious, arrogant people make it not fun.
