While falling, I try to:
- Use the leather bag as a parachute
- Dodge the ground (hey, it worked in the hitchhikers guide)
- Land on top of my companion (he might cushion my fall)
- Land gracefully in water (I heard a splash, earlier)
Your mini-parachute seems to show some effect...
You see and hear your companion fall on the ground with a splashing sound. There also is a strange machine here...
Because your fall is slowed by the leather bag you receive 3d6 damage instead of exploding instantly...
...
3d6=6+4+4=14You slam into an obstacle!
You die!You took part in two battles and killed one beast on you own. You trained three skills up to novice level.
(Entry on highscore list follows...)
I take the paper, and keep heading downstairs.
You sense a tremor in the force! It feels good...
Then you feel an unholy but faint sort of fear when grabbing the paper.
Taking a few steps towards the stairs you can hear a low voice from below. Scary!

Grab the elk bird horn and return to base.
After a tiring march with all that stuff in your full inventory you arrive at the hideout's meeting hall.
Kib is here. She waves at you.
