> *one of these nutters then* go outside to main room again

I'll just shut up.

Males arrives at the dining room.

"Well, I don't know him very well, but he's only been here as long as I have. He couldn't have been up to too much trouble in that time."

Also ask about workshops and fishery.

Guard to Siq: "Well, we give you a chance then. We are the dwarven resistence, fighting against the exploitation and oppression by the guards of Charmlash."
"You'll stay here and prove your trustworthiness. At best you ask in the barracks if you can participate in any missions."

Urist to Iron: "You can make yourself usefull with Carpentry, Masonry, Crafting or Clothesmaking here. Or make something for your own use, just make sure there is enough left for others."
"Yeah, we live mainly on fish down here and can always need help. It's also quite dangerous sometimes."

Awesomeness, I was wondering why milker isn't listed as one of the useless proffessions though?

If you find a cow/horse/purring maggot you could make quite a lot of profit with the milker skill, and horses travel normally with the caravans. That's too usefull.
As a cheese maker you need to find some milk first.

Ask the girl "So what exactly are we resisting? I've just arrived, so I don't know anything about any oppression."

Then report to the barracks.

Joyously run off to make rock blocks. Glance around and see if there's any sand around.

"Wait! You have to be careful when leaving the hideout. It's meant to be secret, you know. And there are dangerous critters out there. I'll accompany you."
He follows you outside.

You can see the bird's corpse from here, but there are some other animals feeding on it.

You don't see a girl here...

You arrive at the barracks. There are beds of different types of wood on the one side. It looks like a hospital zone.
Someone is lecturing about dodging here.

A dwarf is here, screaming for body parts.
masonry-check(>4): d6=2
You chisel around on a marble rock. It looks a bit more blocky than before, but not much...

Body parts, he says? I'll go over to the fishery and see if there's any bones for him.

You go a bit closer to the creatures. They are naked mole dogs!
The guard whispers: "Be cautious, I'm not sure if we could take them..."

You feel enlightened, but you know that you'll need a bit practical training to dodge properly.
You ask the trainer about missions.
"We are going to start a sabotage mission and an expedition soon. I don't know you, so I cannot allow you to participate in the sneaky mission, sorry."
"The expedition is going to be risky, though."

There are no bones at the fishery, but two dwarves. One is fishing, the other cleaning a fish.
The fish cleaner is smiling at you.
