Could we please get a sample turn, with the differences between what the heads and the captains post?

Shouldn't the heads of military bases be named commanders? It would get confusing with two captain titles.

In short: the Head controls the specialized personnel, the captain the rest.

Sample turn:

(Adam and Arnold are in a military team, Bert and Ben in a research team, and Chris and Charles in a mining team.)

We will attack the aliens with all personnel. I PM'd Arnold, and he agreed.
(there is no need for Arnold to post now)

I am the captain, and will tell all the engineers to repair the docking bay. I don't know what Ben's researchers will do.

My researchers will split in teams, one team working on an antitoxin and another on a plasma engine.

I will command the engineers to help the miners, and ask for a supply of 1 ton of yoghurt!

The miners will dig North.

But Charles wants captain Chris dead, so he PMs me the following:

I will try to poison the yoghurt.

and I post:

Adam and Albert, the aliens are dead! You find three pairs of lederhosen!

Bert and Ben, the docking bay explodes and everyone dies, but you now have antitoxin and plasma engines.

Chris and Charles, the yoghurt arrives and the miners find nothing. Also, some engineers are sick!

Are the innovations that we make limited by roolz or something?

So, Ched and Omega together As researchers. And Acanthus and x2? As research, or military? If I get a reply this night, I suggest we play a test turn starting tomorrow.

For research (and most other broad actions) there are two rules: the rule of the d100 and the rule of fudge. If you try to make the food tastier, go ahead, it'll probably go well if you throw 20 or above or so. But if you try to build a jetpack from a few slices of cheese, you'll need 3 natural 100's in a row, at least. Be reasonable, and everything is possible.
