Always thirsty?
« on: April 11, 2010, 04:01:50 am »

My dwarfs always have those little blue thirst arrows on their heads, even after a new embark with lots of alcohol. Anyone else having this problem?

They don't instantly stop their tasks and have a drink when they get thirsty now. Except it might have gone to far in the other direction, of them not drinking until they're very dehydrated. Some people have had reports of dwarves dying, but none of mine have. Though i have no evidence, i have my theories as to why.
(basically, i think dwarves won't drink until the very last, say one ingame week. even if the nearest drink is more than a in game week's walk away. But i've not done thorugh testing)

Yea I noticed the drinking thing, just put in a couple extra wells, etc, in your fort so they can get it faster.
