Safe to say she has the whole "subconsciously constrained against scattering/fusing while porting" type, she doesn't teleport with her weapon inside of her foes, she has only accidentally ended up teleporting while sitting in a chair and landing on her butt, so she's got some sort of buffer effect even without smitty around, he just changes it so instead of her landing where she thinks she wants to be, she winds up at the right place when she needed to be there.

I was very amused when I went to get my hair cut because the basic instructions were "much shorter on the sides and top" and when asked for more clarification I explained "it doesn't go up, but if it is short enough to go up then she'll be my friend" and pointed at the missus, and after I was done I went over where she was getting her hair cut and said "it goes up!" and she replied "oooh I wanna be your friend!" and nobody else got it.
