My thoughts: this was essentially a joint effort between the mediums of both the Forest and the Court to eliminate a dangerous threat in the territory between the two. Such a move can only help repair relations, right?
Wrong! Wolf-Tree-Whose-Name-I've-Forgotten and Guy-In-Throne-At-Court will jump at each others throats, because now the other can invade without the threat of Ghost-Lady-Whose-Name-I've-Forgotten.
At least, that's my 2 cents.
