Trolls are a very angry and violent race. Some are more hot-tempered and dangerous than others, to the extent that if left to their own devices, they would present a serious threat to society, or even to themselves. Such trolls will have an instinctive pale attraction to a more even-tempered troll, who may become their MOIRAIL. The moirail is obliged to pacify the other, to function as the better half. The two partners in a strong pale relationship will serve to balance and complement each other's emotional profiles, and thus allow their other relationships to be more successful.

So yeah. Annie and Kat are just friends, with no romance between them, troll or otherwise.

Unless of course that love letter is actually from Kat. Who else would draw an angled heart like that, anyway? >:]

Cause I'm not sure who else it could be from (other than maybe Dad)? That could be the final "change" -- Anthony Carver returns to the Court, just as Annie joins the other side.

He's very strongly implied to be dead, what with the 'death scene' from the recording... but... I get the feeling that if anyone could manage to upload their consciousness into a machine, then go into some sort of hidden, self-loathing, self-imposed exile (after all, I wouldn't put it past him to believe himself too terrible a person to deserve the peace of death)... it would be him. I'm thinking he may still be alive somewhere, and if he got news of someone appreciating and continuing his work, he may want to get in contact with them, if only to thank them.

Some notes that I saw in the art:
1)Heart pin on Kat - seems connected to the love letter in some way? Might be interesting.
2)Root/hand thing in Antimony's hair - entanglements of the forest? Maybe some coyote mind control/compulsion thing?
3)Wheel in top left - the circle with negative reminds me of photovoltaic cells, maybe something to do with the etheric experiments?
4)Eye satellite in the top right - fairly sure about this one, but remember the rocket that they sent up to Annie's father? MY guess is that the eye has something to do with those satellites.
